SACA meets on the second Tuesday of every month, usually 7pm at the Trades and Labour Club, Talbot Street though this is subject to change – notification on the email list.
A draft version of the SACA constitution is currently undergoing the finishing touches, ready for ratification at the first SACA AGM which will take place on 12th July, time and venue tbc.
It is likely that the AGM will be held in the second week of April.
At present, any interested organisation can affiliate to SACA, 1 delegate for the first 1000 members (or less) in an organisation, and an extra delegate for every 1000 beyond that. Affiliation fees depend on the wealth of the organisation and are not set in stone. They can be discussed with the Treasurer or the Steering Committee.
The steering committee is made up of these delegates and elected officers and meets every second Tuesday of the month at 7pm. Meeting venues are announced on the mailing list, and also on the Facebook group, through Twitter, and here as much as possible.
All steering committee meetings are open to all who wish to attend and all attendees can speak. If a vote needs to be taken then it is assumed that this will be done by affiliated delegates.
